CELEBRATE 70TH REPUBLIC DAY WITH THE WORLD’S LARGEST DEMOCRACY, INDIA!

India got declared as a democratic nation in 1947. But to run such big democracy, a constitution was required. So, after three consecutive years of hard work, on 26th January 1950 the constitution of India came into effect. Grand Parade:

This grand event is a visual treat. Displaying the culture of all the 29 Indian states, this parade symbolizes “unity in diversity.” This parade is a 3-hour show which begins with the arrival of the President of India. This baronial parade is held at the Raisina Hill which is closer by President’s palace. Starting from India Gate this grand march is carried till Red Fort. The national flag is hoisted at the Red Fort by the respected President.

On this day, the main event is to pay tribute to the lives of the soldiers who died at the country’s border. The ending of the ceremony is marked by the three bands collectively singing a Christian’s hymn- “Abide with me”.
