Airports in India

India is served by three main airports, the Chennai International Airport in the city of Chennai, that of Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji in the city of Mumbai and that of New Delhi Indira Gandhi in the capital, New Delhi. If you opt for a taxi, there are a dozen taxis that park in front of the arrival hall. Taxis have a counter and kilometer costs 15 Indian rupees or about 0.21 euro. You can also buy a taxi ticket, for a fixed fee included, at the Delhi Traffic Police counter and hand it over to the taxi driver at the end of the trip. For a car rental, there are several companies that offer their services in the arrivals hall. The car is available immediately and already accompanied by a driver.

Between mid-November and the end of March, consider wearing loose and light clothing. The temperature revolves around 32 °c and the sun is always on the go. It's also the perfect season to get to India. In winter, although the days are mild with an average temperature of 28 °c to the maximum, bring warm clothes as the minimum can go down to 8 °c. For a visit between June and September, do not forget to bring an umbrella in your suitcases, India has an average rainfall of 120mm during this period. It's the monsoon.
